All our activities, except for science theatre shows, take place throughout the night, so feel free to pop in any time! A cafe offering healthy snacks will be open 18-21 as well. Researchers' Night ends with a spectacular fireworks show at 21!

Workshops for ADULTS:
  • Measuring the lighting, noise and humidity in living quarters
  • Measuring radiation and dirt in water
  • Measuring the temperature of body and blood pressure - and comparison of different measuring methods
  • Healthy food on your table: How many nitrates are there in fruits and vegetables? How good is our honey? All this and lots of other exciting experiments

Workshops for YOUNGSTERS:
  • How to exctract DNA with household chemicals?
  • Chemistry of healthy food
  • How much Vitamin C is there in my food?
  • How does Coke affect my health?
  • Make healthy (but extremely tasty!) oatmeal snacks!
  • Build a healthy and eco-friendly house!
  • How does 3D affect my eyesight and brain?
  • Make your own sports drink! (Workshop by Science Centre AHHAA)
For SMALL SCIENCE ENTHUSIASTS:
  • Make your own flashlight
  • Engrave a healthy message on the spoon
  • Hike on a science trail "I'm Healthy!"
  • Craft a frog and a butterfly
  • AHHAA's workshop "Germ Fighters" teaches you how to protect yourself from falling ill

SCIENCE THEATRE shows
