Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international and independent non-profit organisation which aims to promote forest management in environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable way everywhere in the World. Together with Researchers' Night, FSC takes you on an exciting journey behind the "scenes" of various enterprises. Kroonpress Printing Plant and Tarmeko Spoon in Tartu, JELD-WEN Door Solutions in Rakvere and Põltsamaa Felix Food Processing Plant in Põltsamaa welcome you!

Põltsamaa Felix

Is Põltsamaa made of jam and pickles? Is there wine flowing in the river? What is the connection between Felix, beneficial forest management and FSC? Let's take a closer look how two kilograms of tomatoes become one kilogram of ketchup, how juice gets into the carton, pumpkins are being pickled and wine is being bottled. And how the principles of responsible entrepreneurship are being followed in the practices of a large-scale food processing plant.
