The Cafe Scientifique at A.H. Tammsaare Museum focuses on mental health and mnemonic processes that deal with trauma narratives, legal psychology, confessions and fiction.

How does context set the stories that we tell each other? Are fake memories good or bad; do they protect us or destroy us instead? What if someone's life depended on our memories - a confession at the courtroom, our memoirs...? If a person himself believes his confessions, should we believe them as well? Is everything allowed in fiction? Where do memories end and fiction begins?

Come and discuss with Paul-Eerik Rummo, Kristjan Kask, Tiina Ann Kirss and Maimu Berg.
